About the Artist
All work is original. Favorite themes for watercolor and acrylic paintings are vegetables, fruit, landscape or floral choices, reflecting Carol Jean’s enjoyment of gardening. Her collages are colorful free-form designs created of imported or other papers tinted with acrylic, water color or other mediums. Sometimes she adds a touch of gold-leaf and drawing or painting with another media such as graphite, crayon or another paint choice. She creates her work in such a way that pieces can easily be displayed singly or combined in groupings of two or more. Her work is appropriate for both residential and corporate settings. Sometimes she signs her paintings and collages with initials only so that the patron of her work can decide which angles they prefer to frame or hang the piece.
